3pt hitch backhoe mounted to a subframe?

I am considering mounting a woodmaxx 6600 backhoe to a Kioti Ck20 on a Kioti Subframe does this seem feasible. I realize there would be some custom cutting and welding but it seems like it might make a nice combo for a reasonable price. Does anyone have any thoughts? ( I have a sub frame already so that cost does not figure into the equation)

Do you have a loader on the tractor? That is normally what takes the torsional forces on the front of the tractor. The subframe transmits torsional force to the frame of the front end loader, and on to the bucket and ground from there.

Yes, having the CK20 (2365 or 2465?) subframe already cuts down on the custom work you will have
to do. You will next need to decide if you are going to go with a 2-part subframe, or
a one-piece unit that comes off with the backhoe.

A lot has to do with how the rear of the WoodMaxx is configured.

deffinately attach it to the subframe somehow. I have a woods 6500 hoe mounted as 3pt on an old ford 850 and I subbed up a 2 part subframe on it to help the old tractor out. anything is better than nothing.

I have the one piece sub frame that mounts to loader pillars and back to the rear end. I was thinking of welding a platform of some fort to the subframe to make a custom mount for the hoe. My thought was that then any damge would be limited to sub frame or the back hoe thus protecting the tractor and castings.

look at page 3 of this thread. page 3 has pics in 2 of my posts.

shows the small frame i made that hugs the toplink and top hyd cover, taking pressure off the 3pt rocker, and the other posts show it mounted with some supports running under the axles on the bottom.

I just looked at that subframe you built for ck30. Amazing workmanship. It appears as though the underside of the Ck20 is similiar in many ways to the CK30 so I may be able to mod the ck20 sub frame to mathcup pretty well with 3pt backhoe using some of your photos as pointers
