Hi
I have lots of slopes. My cab 3720 is a 2009 and has the parking brake set with the button on the dash, which is pulled out when the brake is pushed down. My problem is I need to stand on the brake really hard to get it to lock. Most times I need to drop the bucket if I really want it to stay put. The dealer came out and adjusted it once but it still is not really good enough.
I noticed that the new 3720's have the parking brake as a lever next to the seat ie you just pull up on it to lock the brake. This seems to be much easier to lock up. Does anyone have any experience with these and how well do they hold?
My cab has the holes for one of these all drilled, but plugged. Anyone know if I can retrofit the newer brake? My John Deere dealer is not sure and seems not to be getting any response from Deere.
Thanks
Bob
