Haven't had the backhoe on the 3316 HST since first cutting of hay. My dad helped me out and got the backhoe off and rake hooked up so I could go straight to raking. Problem is he has no idea where he put the subframe pins.
Could anybody tell me what size the pins are? Am I going to be able to pick them up at TSC/Southern States/etc. or have to get them through Mahindra?

I checked parts and it doesn't tell me the size, but I would guess it is about 1" by 5".

I looked over the Mahindra exploded diagram and no size...it tells you what size lynch pins but not the subframe pins. I can tell you a 1 1/16 pin will not fit. Makes sense for it to be a 1 inch pin. Mahindra has them priced at $25 a pin...WOW. Where's Jeremy? Is there any reason I shouldn't replace them with a 1 inch standard pin?

Don't worry. Your dad will find them the day after you buy new ones.

Are you sure he didn't store them on the backhoe? There are place holders for them.

Joel,
What make is your backhoe? Are these straight pins or wedge shaped taper pins?

I have the same 3710 backhoe on a 2816 Mahindra. After reading your post I became curious how big my sub frame pins are. I went out with a ruler and a set of digital calipers. They are indeed 5 inches long by 1 inch in diameter (.99 by the caliper). I sure hope I don't loose mine if they are $25 through Mahindra.

Sorry for the delay! Yes, they are pretty standard pins. You should be able to replace them with something locally pretty easy. I know that some pins we buy are actually the EXACT same pins they sell at TSC etc....
