After doing some research on my new machine it apereas that many of them were incorrectly assembled. the brake and clutch rods are reversed. crossing each other in A X type pattern. this is incorrect. after repairing and adjusting that situation, also main clutch was way too tight with no Freeplay. the unit actually stops turns very nicely. also, many hydraulic lines were tangled amongst themselves and other cables and needed rerouted, but it seems to be A much better operating experience. this guy isn't a CAT or JD but it also didn't $$$$ completely break the bank. also, you can go to notherntool.com and download complete manual on this machine. very helpful.
