Hey Guys, just had my local dealer quote me a cabin air filter since mine looks rough. Was almost $135 w/ tax. They were very surprised, as was I. That a normal price for that? Seems...steep. :(

About right comparing a Kubota cabin filter to yours (dealer pricing). I wash mine out (carefully) a few times before replacing.

I don't know how a tractor cabin air filter compares to the automotive type but the local Dodge dealer will replace mine for "only" $60. I can get the same thing at Auto Zone for about $15 and showed my daughter how to change it. This is a paper element filter. You could try getting the dimensions of your filter and heading to Auto Zone or similar and see what fits.

Probably nothing automotive will interchange, mostly because of the shape of the cabin air filter. Automotive cabin filters are usually rectangular and tin. Tractor cabin filters are usually much thicker and off shaped but worth a try anyway. Nothing ventured, nothing gained but I believe it will be a strike out.

Good to know its not out of line in the tractor world. It just seemed rough. I have bought others over the years Cat, Komatsu, etc. My Kubota (L4630) was about $60 last year when I bought one. I was pleasantly surprised, not when the exterior door handle broke exactly like my Kubota (threaded insert pulled out), but when the part was only about $25 versus $80 something when I bought the Kubota one. I'll put that towards a cabin filter haha

Its not dissimilar in shape/size to many automotive cabin air filters (I am a mechanic by trade) but the way it seals seems rather proprietary. Won't stop my looking though!

Denso got back with me and said the number I had from the filter was not a good Denso number.
