Tractor
John Deere 3520
I was looking under my 3520 today to check tire pressures. On the front under the radiator there are 2 bolts coming up from the bottom of the tractor, both of them were loose. After tightening them I looked on the sides of the radiator at the bottom. There were holes for 2 bolts on either side of the radiator. No bolts in either hole. I don't know if I lost them or if they were not installed in the first place. Seems odd that all of them would fall out. The tractor only has 600hrs on it. I haven't tried John Deere .com because it is always a hassle for me to use.

I went out to check. The only thing that I could see that could be potentially what your talking about is the 2 bolts that attach the radiator shroud to the radiator. There is one bolt each side at the very bottom facing toward the operator station.

I'd be happy to help with diagram from JDParts, but I need serial number and is this a OS or CAB model?

Also, there is a link in my signature to a quick tutorial that may help you with JDP.

The bolts I am talking about are on the bottom of the radiator. One on each side facing out and one facing forward. I can't tell if they ever had bolts in them. They are visible with the hood up and looking at the bottom of the radiator. The bolts that I tightened come up from under the radiator only accessible from under the tractor. I don't see any movement of the radiator or the shroud. I guess I will try JDparts .com and see what I can come up with. Oh it is an Open Station Tractor. Serial#ch3015t206042

I think this is the correct diagram:

The bolts that I tightened were #30 in the diagram coming up from under the tractor holding the radiator in place. The bolts that were missing were #9 in the diagram going thru the shroud. But the diagram only shows 2 bolts at the bottom of the shroud, whereas my tractor has six threaded holes in the radiator for bolts. I think I will stop by my dealers and see it they have a 3520 on the lot or in the service department that I can look at. Thanks for the diagram. At least I know my radiator will not fall out or move into the fan.
