My 3510i FEL and BH will only move one Hyd cylinder at a time. When lifting and curling the bucket at the same time, the bucket will curl and then start to lift. The BH is the same which makes it tough to dig a smooth ditch. Is this normal or do I have a problem. I have about 30 hours and have changed the Hyd Filter but to no avail.

You may have low oil/ rpm or a restriction. I have noticed on my unit that the spools of the loader get hot quickly and wonder if the valves are closing/ opening properly. I cant help anymore than this. Please keep us informed.

For the FEL I believe this is normal. In fact you probably can't operate you 3-point lift while you use a FEL function. Not sure how the BH is plumbed though.

For FEL ops only should the valve for the 3pt be closed all the way. I have it open now. I understand it should be open for the 3pt and the BH operations. It is open all the way and the BH still operates in one direction only. They need better directions for City Folk.

My knob has never changed the operation of anything but the response time of the up and down motion of the 3 pt arms. You might want to perform that test. I've heard some say it does, and some say it doesn't.

I also get multiple functions from both units. FEL: curl/ raise BH: Raise/swing. Boom in/curl bucket. Maybe your quick connect line isn't fully connected. One time my connector wasn't fully in and my FEL was raising up all by itself, and the engine was laboring. Took me a few minutes to diagnose, but the rear quick connector wasn't fully in.
