Oil & Fuel 3510 Low fuel tank position

I've been worried about the tank, but the only thing I've managed to puncture is one of the hydraulic filters on my HST. Somehow managed to get a stake through the heart and wound up having to cut the filter off with a dremel to take care of it, then managed to bugger the filter housing so TIG'd it up. I needed to do the 50 hour anyway, but would have prefered to pick the time and place rather than have it picked for me.
I do like having it low for fueling. I slop much less fuel that way.

I have a 2003 3510 with about 500 hours on it and i am the only owner of it have never got any thing to hit my tank,I have had sticks go into spots of the frame like the drive shaft and now i just watch what i run over,If you are doing a lot of work in the brush you should make guards for the tanks and skid plates under the tractor,
