3500 Pump Timing

Well I have been posting in the wrong forum. I am new to tractors but long time diesel tech, I bought a 3500 with the pump removed and siezed what a fun rebuild. Now I need the pump timing and any other tips and tricks that come along with this tractor.:laughing:

Timing is 19° btdc for either the inline or distributor type injection pumps, according to the operator's manual. The manual is available as a paid download at the CNH website. They also have separate manuals for the loaders and hoes usually installed on 3500's.

Thanks for the info. I have the manuals in the PDF form I just couldn't find it anywhere in the manuals. I'm a paper person.
