Just went over the 350 hour mark on my B7500 and she's a dandy! I think it's at 353 now.
I got the garden tilled under drug fairly smooth and then got the ole Scotts spreader (the kind you gotta push, agggggh) and put down 25lbs of winter wheat and 200 lbs of pelleted lime, and I could have used another 200 lbs, I think, I'll wait till spring.
Now I ain't done no soil test but parts of the garden is harder than a rock and figured the lime helped cure this problem..I even think I read that here. Anyway, I can't see how it would hurt.
In the spring I'll just till the wheat under and go from there. Last year I used a single bottom plow and after talking to some other farmer Browns in the area they told me to till it one year and plow it the next to keep the hardpan from being, ah hardpan.
It's late. I love my 'Bota!
