336D

Hello

Bought a 336D last night and having it delivered this afternoon. 1300 hours with FEL, post hole digger, finish mower, and rack. There has been some damage to the hood, the hydralic hoses are leaking at the quick disconects, and the front tires are worn. Runs good and everything works, gave 3500 delivered. I will take some pics once I have it.

Delivered - started seeing the little things that missed last night in the near dark. it is running very rich, bluish white smoke - over full on oil and the pre cleaner filter cover has some kind of plastic cover with holes drilled in it - I do not think it is allowing enough air through.

Where can I find a new hood and pre cleaner filter cover?

All in all I am still happy with it.

Here is the globe Yanmar Tractor Parts: AIR CLEANER GLOBE and here is the assembly. Yanmar Tractor Parts: PRE-CLEANER ASSEMBLY - NEW! I doubt a new hood is available. Might find a used one or find a good body man.

I have been watching Craigslist for the last week. Posted at 10am, first caller, made appointment for that afternoon. The guy had taken it in as part of a trade for a Ford tractor he had restored. He was going to fix it up and resell but has to many projects.

question:

I drain the oil this morning and it smelled like diesel fuel and was really thin. The fuel shut off valve on the filter is not turning the fuel off - could this allow fuel to drain into the crank case?
