3235 lift cylinder

I have a 2004 Cub Cadet 3235 with a 291 deck. The lift cylinder is leaking off and the control valve is leaking at stem. Can the cylinder be rebuilt and control valve be rebuilt or are the replaceable only? The part number for the valve is 717-3452 and the part number for the lift cylinder is 717-3423.

A source like this: Cub Cadet 3000 series Tractor Parts might allow you to determine internal components - and if you are handy in hydraulics - let you rebuild your leaking valve and cylinder with fresh seals, orings, packing, etc.... or at least pursue competitive prices as I noticed the cylinder p/n was NLA at CC. Another option would be to take the leaking items to a hydraulics shop for rebuild....Good luck with your search.

I just did both on my 3235. The hard part is to get to the Valve, as far as cylinder that was fairly easy.

Two O rings in the Valve, the cylinder a friend did for me.
