3215 problems

Hi I'm new to this forum.
I own a 3215 that I bought 18mo. ago and have been happy with my new toy.
However today the motor locked up it has 180hrs.
I was useing it to run a small grain auger rated at 20pto hp I have had the tractor on it for this the second year.
Here's what happened After allowing it to warm up 15min I started to auger my corn and advanced to 1500rpms @ 5min later the pto quit I ran over to my suprize the motor was running rough and blowing exhaust out the air filter intake also the oil presssure lite was on I imediatly shut it off and pulled the dipstik oil is a lite brown milky color not good.
I will call dealer tomarrow they are good to deal with I'm just shocked I have heard nothing but high praise about the Mitsubechie motor.
Wondering if any one else had same problem. Thanks

Sounds like you may have blown a head gasket and now have water in the engine. Hopefully it didn't crack anything.

I agree, sounds like it blew a head gasket. Since you caught it and shut it off you may get lucky and only need to replace the gasket, flush out the crankcase and radiator. Refill with proper fluids and restart. I hope thats all you need and didn't hurt the engine block of head.
It sounds like the cylinder head may not have been torqued to spec causing the gasket to blow. If it ran that way for any length of time you'll probably need to have the main and rod bearings replaced. They don't like antifreeze at all. Keep us informed what your dealer finds out. At only 18 months perhaps it is covered under warranty?

18 months, should be under drive train warranty.

I'm betting you end up with a new crate engine. I'm assuming you serviced appropriately and it did have proper amount of oil in it when you started. Failures like this are very rare. Please keep us posted.
