314-8 snowthrower compatibility

I'm looking to pick up a 1996 Wheel Horse 314-8 14hp tractor. I've also found a snowthrower unit for sale that the seller believes is from the late 70s. I know Wheel Horse has been pretty good about compatibility over the years, but what is the chance these two items will play nice together?

The snowblower and the front blade hook to the rear axle, if the A frame is there it should work, you also need the lifting post for the snowblower.
