312-8 Need New Seat

Hi all i tried the search function but i got everything that mentioned any of the key words. That i maybe how it works but not specific enough for my needs. If this has been talked to death i appologize .
My origional 312-8 seat is in pretty bad shape and in the spring i would like to get a new one. I will keep the old one for winter/ cold use so i dont crack the new one. Do i need to just buy oem and be done with it or has anyone found a place to get a good after market replacement? Mine does not have arm rests, i am however no agianst getting them on the next one. The main thing to me i guess is that it will connect the same way as the oem one does.I can fab up somthing i guess but i really dont want to get into a total reconstructin of the seat connection . I'm surprised no one responded. There are a number of different seats on the aftermarket. Some will even have the correct bolt pattern. TSC and Northern Tool are two vendors to check.
