I recently split my 3038e to repair o ring on the 4 wheel drive linkage, all went well, tractor went back together without issue. When i started the motor there was a pop and the PTO oil supply to the PTO clutch broke. Has anyone had this issue, i discussed with the local dealer and he had no idea what happened. When split the PTO and transmission was not touched, all that was removed was the 4 wheel drive linkage and assembly. The dealer ordered a new supply connector and suggested running the tractor again.
