This is the way the sway arms came. Looks like the right side male slide is mounted upside down?

I agree. It looks upside down or the end mounted backwards. Pretty simple fix, probably take less than a minute whether you wanted to turn the whole swaybar "right side up" or take the end off and turn it around.

Looks like LS has free PDF parts manuals online ( which is nice) if you want to see one and make 100% certain.

My owner manual didn't show much detail. That parts manual PDF seems to show mine is indeed mounted upside down. Had to flip thru 214 pages before I found it though.

I am confused (doesn't take much). Looking at the pictures, the one with the rear tire on the left of the picture is incorrectly installed.

Actually, you are correct... the pic with the tire on the right is incorrect, but it seems to me it would offer more support installed that way.

Just looked at my R3039H. Both links point or bend toward center.

I've heard a couple reports of the brackets breaking ... very possible a mitigating factor could have been an incorrectly installed stabilizer

I believe a good portion of the bending of brackets will be attributed to the "square head" of the round pins will slide under the stabilizer arm and jamming when the implement is lowered. Those pins are really hard and they protrude a good bit past the outside edge of the pin portion. I have now replaced all of my round pins with flat ones and keeping the flat side on the bearing portion against where the friction is. Before, I had never thought of the orientation of the pins when
I've been inserting them.
