OK, well it looks like I am going pull the trigger and get the 3032E and trade my 2320 due to major damage to the rear and tran.'s my question is that I have had alot of people tell me to get the tires loaded which I am leaning toward but can anyone give me an idea generally how much it would cost for rim guard in the tires, I have no idea so I would like to have an educated guess so I do not get blind sided. Thanks alot......

Look at the attached pdf which summarizes the Goodyear Farm Tire Handbook recs for how to properly ballast your machine and get the maximum traction. You'll notice it doesn't call for liquid tire fill, because none of the ag tire manufacturers recommend filling your tires. The key is to a) balance your machine axles as appropriate for the kind of tractor (such as 4wd) and attachments and b) reduce your tire pressures to the minimum necessary to support each axle under load, but this requires you to calculate your axle loads. Look how low the R1 pressures can go, down to 6 psi, for standard work environments. Most of the tire manufacturers list their base tire pressures as the 15 or 25 mph roading pressure, which is much higher than the 5 mph working pressure we need to work around the farm. Deere list the R1 pressure minimum in most of their CUT manuals as 12 psi, yet the tire pressures clearly can go below this.

See this table to figure out the loads your tires can bear at various pressures; see the footnote that shows you can add 33% to the loads for speeds less than 10 mph; less than 5 is even more but I can't find the Goodyear manual online anymore to give the exact percentage:

I would suggest BOTH rim guard filled tires (should only be around $100) and a ballast box filled with portland cement or heavy box blade at all times for loader work.

People have been putting water and antifreeze in tires for years. The antifreeze is also a corrosion inhibitor if im not mistaken. 8 pounds per gallon times two. You tell me is it worth it to fill the tires.
