3032e Canadian Price Check

Hello,

My local Calgary JD dealer quoted $18,799 + GST for the JD 3032e with 305 loader. Is that reasonable? According to the JD website, the MSRP for this setup is $20,274 + GST. On the surface it looks good but this is my first tractor purchase so I'm not sure how much dealers typically discount from MSRP.

Sounds like a really good price to me. Sure you'll be pleased with it.

What do you plan on using it for?

I didn't get out my calculator to check the % discount, however, quite a few posters report at least 10% - 15% off MSRP as being achievable, depending on regional pricing.

Having said that, given you have the "Alberta Advantage" going for you, it's fortunate the dealer is even willing to talk to you, let alone give any discount.

Last time I visited Calgary / Edmonton dealers, the word "discount" was not in their dictionary.

The main use will be snow removal on my acreage. In the summer I'll use it to rough cut a field that is about 1 acre in size. I have some landscaping to do on my property over the next year or two so I'm sure I'll find uses for the tractor during that process.

I think that 10% off msrp is about all you will get for a cash price deal on new, a good finance rate at 0% may be worth it instead.
I just picked up my L5740HSTC from Airdrie Kubota yesterday for a great price. They had 8 or 9 units ranging from 30-50hp on consignment from a contractor, most with less than 200hrs. If you are willing to try some orange paint, give them a call.

Sounds like a deal to me. Have you ordered it yet? Only thing I would like to point out is that those Canadian wi tees can be pretty cold and I'm sure you would enjoy a cab to keep you out of some of those elements. A factory cab on a 3320 would bump you up another $10,000. I would look at an aftermarket cab for the 3032e though, be only a couple thousand. But it's well worth it to be out of the freezing your *ss off cold!
