John Deere 3032E
Hi, just figured I'd give a novice tractor owner's review of the 3032E I just bought a couple months ago.

First off I picked up the tractor with FEL, R1 tires, and Frontier 60" rotary cutter for $20299. Probably not the lowest price in the country but certainly the lowest within reasonable driving distance. ( I did about a 200mi roundtrip to save a few bucks ) 0% for 72mos made new cheaper than used.

I have also purchased seperately a Howse 60" box blade and a titan pallet fork attachment.

In my short time using it I can see a little more HP would be nice but it's more $$$ In fact I can get nicer everything with just a little more money. The problem is that never really ends and the budget can get crazy quick if you just want a little more.

I wish the tractor came with ballasted tires and a bit more loader capacity. I totally understand why the load is limited and works with the existing weight of the tractor. In fact even with the box blade on there have been some hairy tippy moments when lifting heavy on uneven ground. I have to remember to keep the load as low as possible. I have more than once had my right hand shoot up and drop the load to the ground because it felt tippy. I live on hilly terrain and always shoot straight up and down when possible.

I will rent a flatbed trailer and take it to my local tire shop to fill with rim guard.

Very happy getting the R1 tires over R4. In my neck of the woods I think I'd be chaining R4s for extra traction.

The first couple days I was shearing pins on the rotary cutter constantly until I got that all figured out. I'm still running grade 2 but with improved technique.

The box blade isnt as useful as I'd hoped. It still gets alot of work done and did cut in a new road for me but not as useful on my already graveled driveway. I use the FEL and back drag that.

The pallet forks are awesome. Watched alot of ask tractor Mike videos and he mentioned them for all sorts of stuff and that's what I do with them. I've dug out stumps, moved huge brush piles, dead trees, pallets of blocks, and all sorts of good stuff. I love the pallet forks.

The first day I owned the tractor I cleared about a half acre hillside with 6' high blackberries just back dragging with the bucket.

A borrowed auger let me put in a new chicken coop a **** of a lot easier than digging by hand. The auger seriously needs a couple suitcase weights or something. It just does not have the weight to effectively dig. I had to weigh it down to get it to dig.

We used a single ripper on the box blade to dig through hard ground to lay conduit for RV electrical service.

I have done work in the first 50 hours that would have either taken me years or would not have been done at all without a tractor. I've discovered ways to make the little fella do work that I would have never thought a tractor of it's size can do. I've also seen it's shortcomings. All in all though I think I've got a pretty decent little tractor for my 7 forested and sloped acres.

Spreading and grading 2 dumptruck loads of asphalt grindings in one day,....whodathunkit.

It's pretty nice to have a diesel powered wheelbarrow and shovel for a change.:dance1:
