3016 Oil Filter Change

Okay....I give up, and have to ask. I have 4 different oil filter wrenches including the Fram that fits on and you use a ratchet. This thing won't come off. The engineer who chose the placement of this filter should have his iron ring taken away. It is in such a miserable location it is very difficult to even get a chisel and hammer on it.

This is the first change for this tractor (50 hours) perhaps the dealers here know if there is a special Mahindra wrench just for these filters. It is totally ridiculous that what should be a 20 minute job can burn the better part of a day.

This morning I went and a purchased another filter wrench and that worked. In case anyone in the future is searching for a wrench that works for these filters....Fram part number FM 101 fits perfect. Poured in the new oil....greased all the zerks and spent the rest of the day moving logs. All is good once again!
