After measuring & observing the site with much review and sitting down with construction superintendent we came up this revised edition of my creek bridge project.
The span will be 31' from inside to inside of bridge piers. We will embed the heavier (39"L x 12"H x 10"W x 53lbs a foot) steel i beams into the cement footers with a center angle embedded as well. Cross angles will be welded 5' 2" apart for a total of 6.
The I beams will be put into place and supported after the holes are dug, then will build form around top 4' of hole to enclose the beams & center angle into the cement footer. Sounds easy (Not)...but will probably be easier and less expensive than previous versions of this planning.
We are working on a draft drawing.
