From my last thread 'Identyify UFO controls' I took tractorErnie's advice and just got on my new AF33 and tried using the controls. Have been ploughing (mounding for tree planting) for 1 day and need help adjusting the depth.
What is the lever with red handle marked down/N/up. On newer tractors I have seen it marked 1 to 10 positions. Is it fine draft adjustment to use while working, or is it just indexed positions? Mostly nothing happens when I move it. How do I "turn it on". What is the locking screw which sets the lower limit for this lever.
The black up/down toggle switch will raise and lower the hitch, so I am using it for fine adjustment as I am working.I think this is quick raise, but it seems to interact with the lever. Sometimes I have to move the lever to up before the quick raise toggle will lift the hitch right up (at end of row), then it raises in steps as if it is preset.
