I bought a couple Kubota L245h from a dealer down in kentucky. I couldn't go down and look at them so i took him on his word. Needless to say everyone i bought but this one is in good condition.
The 3 point lift arm lever is snapped off on this machine and before i got to far into it I wanted to hear some ideas. I assume something has to be pretty seized up inside for you to break that lift arm lever.
So i dismantled enough to be able to get at the control lever and try and turn it with no luck in turning it. I noticed that the position control lever which is on the same rod seems to move freely.
As I have not had any problems with 3 pt lifts before I wanted to err on the side of caution. I took the bolts off the top and everything that I can see that could possibly attach it to the rear end but could not for the life of me get it to pop off. I wasn't sure if I have to remove a cylinder or some sort of linkage before I popped the top off or what?
I guess I'm asking what are the likely causes of such problems? And if the lid is just extremely stubborn or needs some other work to remove.
Thanks,
Adam
I have a copy of the parts breakdown if someone needs to take a look at it, but i'd imagine they are all pretty similar.
