Tractor
white 2-60 feild boss
have a white 2-60 tryed mounting a post hole auger on.this is the first thing on as I just bought the tractor 3 weeks ago.
It lifts up and down but not very far ether way. With the adjustable side links all the way up and the 3 point up all the way I can't even put the auger on the head. The hyd was low when bought so I toped it up.would I have air in system? The front end loader works perfect.
Question is how do I make it lift up higher I only have 10" on travel messered on the draw bar arms thanks for any info need to get posts in the ground see pic one for height of top lift arm
also in pic two what are A B and C thumbnail_image2.jpgthumbnail_image1.jpg

Can you take a pic from further away that shows the digger attached to the tractor?

If the fel is working fine not likely you have air in system being an issue. I would check to see if the tractor also has draft control and if so how is it set? Check if there is a stop for the lever preventing it having full range. Check the linkage to be sure it is not loose or worn where it has slop in it preventing move the linkage as it should. If you have another pin location for the phd digger to mount to the tractor try that and see if it helps. There could be some foreign item in the linkage or a bent piece stopping the controls full movement.

10 inches of travel is not enough.

the lower lift arms, there is turn buckle on each one (2 long screws with a long nut) to adjust the lower lift arms. in the lower lift arms there might be an additional slot were the turn buckles connect to the lower lift arms.

for the top link, you can also shorten or length the turn buckle as well. some times, you have 2 to 3 spots on back of tractor were the turn buckle can connect.

=========
there can also be "check chains" and "swap bar/chains" on the 3 pt hitch.

the check chains tend to connect near the PTO shaft, and extend out to the lower lift arms

the sway bar/chains tend to be on the "outside" of the lower lift arms.

=========
some times the implement offers a couple spots for top link connection. so you can adjust things.

some times the implement offers lower lift arm connections, but tend to be connection between smaller tractor CAT 1 3pt hitch, vs a larger CAT 2 3pt hitch tractor.

I found some images on the net that show the 3ph goes higher. Check your height limit settings on the quadrant.
Also use the lowest top link hole on the tractor to gain some height as well.
