We just got a our new 6025 last week and while we were very satisfied with the price and the inital power of the machine.
The first time that we put a real load on the box blade the unit when to the top of the stroke and hung. I continued with the FEL for a bit and it came back down with a vibration under normal use, being that it was late on Saturday(first saturday of owernship and first real work day) I continued working with it. Two or the box blade loads later I hit a root that caught a tine and pulled on the box blade. This wasn't enough to stall or signifinatly bog the tractor, but the box blade started to go up again. This time it wouldn't go back down no matter what we did, so we took it to the shop on Monday, yesterday they said it may not be warranty as it was hung on something, but then decided to fix it under warranty.
In the past with Ford and NH tractors from 18 to over 100hp. I have stood the tractors up on the rear wheels yanked and yanked with box blades and various equipment. I have never had this type of trouble, but it bothered me that Manhindra said that it was due to being hung if that valve was bent, and is fairly common when a box blade is hung up. Has anyone seen this in the past? We have talked about it and if this is common we are going to sell the tractor take our hit and get something else. We can not have a tractor that is not working as we use it every day to feed our horses etc. Usually the tractor isn't worked that hard, but when we call for work we need some very hard work. The primary thing that we need though is reliability from the machine.
Thanks,
TD
