First I've seen this.
Is it an aftermarket kit?

Custom job. Where did you get the picture?

Now that's cool!

I'm wondering if it has loader issues. I've looked to see if I could have done something like that but it's very tight.

The stock raised pipe isn't bad though, you think it would be a hassle taking it off to open the hood but it's not. They did a good job on the design.

No soot on the chassis, no smell, definitely worth it in my book. Guess I could get it chromed!

Mines not chrome but it was easy to install - and I love it. Makes a ton of difference with smell and heat when mowing anything 1/2 way wheel high.

Go vertical:D

Weird, I have been looking at that tractor on machinefinder. If I purchased that tractor I would take that vertical stack off and revert to the standard exhaust.. I could see it getting bent in using it daily. Yes it looks cool, but...

Vertical exhausts are for more than just looks. Smell is a big deal to me. My last tractor chocked me so much I used it less. The stack on my new tractor is really great and untill this thread I forgot about how much I was bothered by exhaust smell.
My old snow blower was full of soot too along with the front of my tractor.

I prefer them too...more "manly" and makes a tractor look like a tractor! Got to watch for branches snapping back in your face, of course.
There is (or was) a kit available to convert the old 4xxx series (late 1990's to mid 2000's) to a vertical exhaust...guess I'd go for it if I could find one relatively cheap.

Of course Roy, how could I forget the manly aspect of them!
