2x20 series cab??

Hi,

I was at the Deere dealer a couple weekends ago and while we were talking about new things coming out he mentioned a factory cab for the 2x20 series. I know they sell them in the UK but not in the US.

Has anyone else heard of a cab for this series?

This always seemed strange to me. Offer a factory cab in Europe but not in North America. I hope your dealer was correct.

I get the impression that they sell the 2x20 cab in markets where it rains most of the time and air conditioning isn't required. That would be the UK.

Problem is that the US is one market, and we in the south need air conditioning in our tractor cabs, so you don't get to have them. I'm not sure I understand Deere's logic.

I have been told "no way, no how. period" by several of my reps.

Therefore we will probably see them next year. LOL

Also, it may be that to sell it in all of the states it would have to comply with all of the safety issues and req. each state has as far as glass, rollover, ventilation, etc. and that would just, quite simply, price it out of the market of being and affordable option compared to just getting a 3xxx cab that is already out there...
