This photo (taken from the LEFT side with the engine cover raised - this explanation to explain the obvious to some whose engines are backwards. Or is it mine? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif)

You can see the PT custom muffler with its insulated jacket to protect the readily accessible battery from heat. Note the ALL of the pumps are toward the FRONT of the tractor, as the engine has been rotated. The integral steel fuel tank is now above the engine where it should be to insure total loss in case of leaking tank. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Even more interesting...so both hydraulic pumps are now on the front of the engine?

That is correct; the engine is within an inch or so of the rear of the machine with pumps lined up on the end toward the front.

With the increased PT425 length, it seems that there is a lot of room to access everything.
