2nd cutting in the books!

I knew it would be a whopper, its been doing nothing but raining for a month. I had a frost stunted 25 bales off of 16 acres first cutting. This 2nd cutting went 49 bales off the 16 acres. Normally I'm 43 first cutting, 25-30 second cutting so almost a complete reversal of the norm.

A quick picture from the desk of the house. You can see the small bale I had to eject when I plugged the baler (self inflicted stupid maneuver, took me 1/2 hour to unplug it! Live and learn) on the left side of the picture.



Baled up real nice, no rain.

Nice picture. With about 70 bales per year at 1800# per (guesstimate) on 16 acres, that's right at 4 tons per acre. Nice haul.

Nice job. My first cutting didn't go quite as planned so I'm hoping things improve with the second cutting also.
