I have a New Holland 7740 with a Bushhog 2847QT front end loader attached. It's been a big help for about 8 years. A while back the single joystick control started getting stiff, but, would still work. Then the bucket stopped responding which led to trouble shooting.
One of the cables, that runs between the joystick control and the Walvoil valve assembly, had snapped and it has been replaced. After quite a bit of tinkering with the various mechanical adjustments of the cables, (at the joystick and valve), the loader worked good as new, maybe even a little easier and smoother. But, only for one day. I used it pretty steady for about 6 hours and all was good. The next day the loader would not respond. Possibly tried to move slightly (maybe I imagined it) and the lines might have twitched a little (maybe).
I have looked for instructions/tips on cable adjustments and any other info that might help, but, can't seem to locate anything. If anyone is familiar with this setup, I would appreciate some direction towards a solution. :confused3:
