I am going to attempt a small fencing project and have considered whether I would get my money out of a new post hole digger over the years (Ray at Coldwater here in Hoquiam has them for $600). A friend suggested that I buy the pointed posts and push them into the ground with my loader bucket instead of buying the hydraulic unit designed for this. Dumb idea or worth a try? I understand that the plus (besides no implement to purchase) is that they are tight right away and the negative is they can be hard to keep straight. What do you all think.
