No, they are not the same. Take a look here on the Mahindra website and you will see how they are different. Now if you were to find a 3215HST and a 2815HST, these tractors are the same other than what is required for the turbo on the 3215.
The 3316 is a more deluxe type of tractor than the 2816, both very good tractors though. :thumbsup:

Mtnviewranch is right, the 3316 is a more deluxe model tractor. They are about the same size, but the 3316 has a few more bells and whisles, with 5 more hp. Shuttle shift, independent PTO, larger loader, turbo etc...
