26,4 hours and the clutch is all the way to the floor and still will not disengage...so hard to change any gears.....anyone else have this problem? : : /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I haven't had that problem myself, but there is an adjustment turnbuckle that might be loose. It is shown on page 73 of the Operator's manual, provided you have the same version of the manual as me.
the clutch makes a weird noise when pushed in also...not that much slop in the pedal......heard a while back on here a guy with a Century had a bad troughout bearing /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Century 3045 (48 hp), R-4's, C50 HL loader, C-86 BackHoe, Cub Cadet Z-force 44 and 1042
I had this problem with my 3045. After my dealer reproduced the problem they found it after hunting around for a while. It ended up being a snap ring that broke allowing a part (do not remember which part) to slide forward. Very easy fix for them once they found it and it has ran like a charm since.
DANCCE was my dealer, who is a member of TBN. You might PM him so he can give you the specifics for your dealer.
I don't believe the symptoms are similar. Duane's was unique and ,as he said ,a simple fix--never had this happen before or since.
Your best bet would be to contact your dealer.
