2705 lift arm

I'm not sure what the proper name of what I need is, so I hope someone can fill me in.

I just bought a 2705 and the left cylinder that controls the lift arm is leaking sort of like a sieve. The local massey dealer just went under, in fact the are auctioning off what is left tomorrow, so I don't know who to ask.

I figure I can order the parts online if I know what to ask for.

my father in law repaired the right one a few years ago, but he doesn't remember what parts he needed.

This is the large vertical cylinder that the lift arms attach to.

When you call or email just ask for the cylinder rebuild kit. That should put everyone on the same page for what you need.

I finally got the cylinder off the tractor and have the parts.
Now I can't figure out how to take the cylinder apart.

If I remove the hose fitting at the top of the cylinder I can see a snap ring in a groove at the top of the piston, I'm pretty sure that is what is holding it together, but how in the world would I get it back on?

It is about a 1/2 in hole.

Any one ever did this????????
