Hey everyone - it has been a long day. Woke at 5am excited about the delivery of my new tractor (due at 9am) Went to breakfast with my buddy who took the day off to help me work my property with the new girl and brought over his 755 - great tractor by the way. Delivery was right on time with everything as it should be and the extras which were worked into the deal - including 15ft chain with hooks, clevis for drawbar, 12volt grease gun kit, and filter kit oh and of course two JD hats (don't think the wife will wear it - more for me) Unloaded the truck and went over everything then hooked up to the brush hog and my buddy and I went to work on my meadow. Took care of that in no time (both 4 ft hogs) The Frontier worked quite well and iMatch is great. Then we cleaned up along my 500ft driveway - a lot of downed trees. We were both impressed by what she could pull - wrapped the chain around several 8-14inch diameter sections at a time and off she went. Then - my buddy got two hay wagons delivered so we drove over to his place to unload. I used my tractor to move one of the wagons into position loaded with 100 square bales (nice and slow) no problem. Unloaded both trailers 210 bales total and then I ran the wagon up the road to our other buddy who does the haying. Pulled well and I am on a pretty steep road. Back to the homestead to grab dinner by then getting dark so I put the light on out in my shed and cleaned it all out to make room for my JD stuff and get organized. Finished up at 23:00 and now I am waiting for the battery on my camera to charge so I can post some pics....thanks again to everyone and special thanks to Chris and Ducati. Chris that rear light switch is great. The fellow who delivered said he hadn't seen anything like it - in fact he said he couldn't remember a tractor with so many accessories - I told him I have a guy in Georgia to thank for that Well hope post some pics - if not than there is always tomorrow....hope I can sleep I am still wired

Nice rig. What's the bar behind the loader/in front of the brushguard? Is that a foldable support for a canopy or something? It's visible in the last pic.
Chris - he had a rod placed to keep the loader from drifting down Yes indeed a backhoe would be great but couldn't get it past the boss this time. Not complaining this is a pretty great Father's Day! BTDT that is the support for the loader when you back out of it so you can drive back in - if I am looking at the same bar you are asking about. Well, time to work I guess....
Hey guys I got the beast dirty and loving it. The driveway was getting a lot of potholes so my buddy and I regraded it with combo of tooth bar and rake. Then we moved 21 tons of 1/2 inch to dust as top stone. 2520 moved serious gravel and did a great job with the rake. The last touch was continuing the driveway slope with 8 yards of top soil to be grass. See what we can find to do after lunch. Enjoy!
