Gentlemen,
I have a JD 2520 and am looking to get a 72" Mid mount mower for it and want to install the independent lift for it. I could find the independent lift kit for the 72" MM about 6 months ago on the deere web sit "Build your own" but it is not there any more. The 62D still has it listed (LVB25605) on the web site when you build your own. I just want to make sure it will work on the 72" also. My dealer and I researched it last night and looked today and he seemed to think it will work.
The reason I do not want the mechanical lift is that I already have a hydralic MCS to connect to the 3 point. So I need the independent lift so the 3 point is available. I have a 6' rear finish mower (Frontier R1072R) that works good and have no issues with power or quality of cut (Don't get any bigger though). I have found a 72" MM for a good price and I want a wider cut and better maneuverability on my property.
Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
