25 kawi vs 27 Kohler

Buying a new ztr.
I have a choice of engines, same price.
Which would you recommend?

Kawi ! I've got a 19hp and it's as smooth as silk. Power to spare.

I would take the Kawasaki over the Kohler. Very smooth and good fuel economy.

Go the Kawasaki. I just jused a 25 horse John Deere ZTR to mow at work and it was sweet. It was the JD 767 or something like that. Really nice.

If your comparing the various ZTR's that use that engine there is little to no difference. I have run them both and can't tell. What ZTR's are you looking at?

Today I drove a JD front mount zero turn with the Kohler and it started right up no choke needed. It also seems to be good. Probably since it is more heavy duty than the never Kohler I has in a JD garden tractor 3 years back.

I had a 23hp Kohler before, had no problems with it, but heard the Kawi was a better engine.
