Dave is correct in stating that the 2815 and 3215 have plastic fender extensions. The reality, however, is that without the extensions, these models wouldn't have fenders. I've been looking at the 2815 series for about 6 months now, and was very disappointed when Mahindra switched the design on this unit (this was literally the first thing I noticed). Although the newer design is a little more operator friendly (more spacious, easier to manipulate controls), the new design feels and looks cheap. Don't get me wrong, the Mahindra units are far better than the competition, I was just disappointed to see Mahindra cheapening the unit with plastic "extensions". The main reason I wanted a Mahindra was because it was rugged through and through. It seems like they've let the designers have more control than they should. I don't want something that looks pretty, I want a man's machine that's ready for work.
...Just my opinion.
