This morning I changed the fuel filter, and Tried to follow the instructions in the manual for bleeding the system, but the fuel valve does not seem to work like the one in the diagram.
The manual shows the valve with toward the front (3:00 position) as air bleed, straight down (6:00), toward the back (9:00) as off. However, on mine the on seems to be 6:00, and both 3:00 and 12:00 are off. After going back and forth several times, I eventually got the bowl half full, and it seemed to run OK. But it got me wondering if the bowl should be full, and what is the process for bleeding the system with a valve like mine?
Thanks,
Jay
