I was not able to copy and paste the photo, but it snaps open in the front and is hinged at the back. The fuse holder is under the hood.
Fuse Test
Reason:
To verify that fuse has continuity.
Equipment:
• Ohmmeter or continuity tester
Procedure:
1. Park machine safely in neutral with park brake locked.

2. Open hood and secure with prop rod. Fuses are located
in holder on right side of engine compartment firewall (A).
3. Snap plastic cover (B) off fuse holder.
4. Remove fuse from load center.

5. Check visually for broken filament (C).
6. Connect ohmmeter or continuity tester to each end of
fuse.
7. Check for continuity.
Results:
• If continuity is not indicated, replace the fuse

I have found that the service manager at the dealer were I bought my tractor is more than willing to give me technical advice. Ususally, they are swamped with work in the shop, anyway.
If I can remember , latch for lid is on the engine side of fuse box. Also if not mistaken when I tried to lift the lift the fuse box lifted off the bracket on the fire wall . At that point easy to turn the box so I could see how I could release the lid.
