I purchased a skid plate for my 2305 last year from Bro-tek. It fit like a glove and I now use my tractor anywhere I want without any worries of fan breakage. The installation of the skid plate was simple and did not take long. Bro-Tek did specify that you cannot use the skid plate with a mid-mount mower. I highly recommend purchasing one of these skid plates for piece of mind if anything at all.
