I've been reviewing all the adjustments on my new 2305 and have a question on the deck lifting arms. The manual warns in several places to verify that the deck lifting arms do not contact the frame stop at full lift height. One of mine was contacting the frame stop, so I set out to adjust it. Thing is, if I unscrew the barrel adjustment to lower the arm so there is no contact at full lift height, then there are less than full threads in the barrel (it is unscrewed enough that the end of the bolt is inside the barrel - not full thread contact throughout the entire barrel). This doesn't seem good to me as the capacity of the lifting arm would be compromised. Also, there seem to be two 'max' lift heights. One if when I set the rockshaft lever to raise and let it auto-release, the second the if I hold it in raise where it will raise a little more than where auto-release stops. I can adjust the amrs properly for the auto-release level, but can't seem to get them low enough in the manual full-height position. Maybe I shouldn't be raising it beyond where the auto-release stops?
