I have been having an issue with my FEL bucket, it leaks down pretty fast way to fast to be normal. When I changed the oil I found an O-ring in the oil that was broke up , looked a little smaller then a penny..

I assume its an o-ring from a valve in the valve body. My question is how hard is this to change on a 2305 and should I tackle it? I have worked on transmissions etc before but nothing really tractor hydraulic in nature.

Anyone have a service manual for a 2305? that would also help!

If your tractor is still in warranty I would take it back to your dealer. There is no comparison between an automotive xmission and the rear tranny on a 2305. It is quite a piece of work.

I don't think it has anything to do with the tranny.. it's in the hydraulic control valve (I'm almost certain given the evidence in the oil). I was simply trying to say I am very mechanical and I do all my own repairs I was just hoping for a little guidance with this.

If it was still under warranty it would have already been fixed.
