I noticed a 2 wire connector on the rear of the tractor just below the plastic and above the top link on the 3pt hitch.
It is clear that this is for rear lighting as it only has power when the front lights are turned on. Does anyone know how much current I can draw from this or how much wattage the jd light is that connects to this?

I believe it is only recommended to plug one 55 watt light into that connector. I ran a new 20 amp circuit from the battery through a relay for my worklamps and accessories. The factory wiring and switches IMHO are not designed to take any extra current.

I have a 2305 and I've had a rear facing 55 watt light plugged into that for years. :)
That plug will go OFF when your hazards are on. It'll only be live when flashers are off and the lights are on switch position.

For my forward lights plugged into a harness that hooked up to the rear tail lights. (2 35 watt lights). The 2305 runs all of them at once no problem with no battery drain (2 35 watt forward facing and a 55 watt rear facing).

BTW: I welded a small metal tang at the center top of the rops where I drilled a hole in
the tang and mounted the 55watt light.
