2150 Deere lower end knock

I'm looking at a 2150 Deere. It has a lower end knock, most likely centered around the crank and/or rod bearings.

Is this unit worth the work and expense to get the lower end ready by doing the crank work, it's in decent shape with fair rubber. I see it as worth 2 grand.

I've seen these babies rebuilt at a cost of mucho shekels.

What have your experiences been with tractors in this shape?

Check frt hyd pump drive coupler for wear. The worn coupler can make some weird noises. IMHO 50 series utility tractors are some of JD's best effeorts
