I just emailed the photo to my buddy. He took me along to go shop for a diesel pickup. Naturally I am pulling for the Ford. We went and saw/drove Ford, Dodge and Chevy. He's between the Ford and the Dodge.
Between your photo and the tree I ripped out of his front yard for him with my dually today I think Ford is taking the lead! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Just in case he needs an extra push, I am coming back tomorrow to "remove" 4 more small trees. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I had to run home to dinner so I couldn't get them today.

This new Ford is really something. I can't say enough good about it. The torqshift transmission is amazing. Gross I was probably 34k. My trailer is 6600 lbs. and truck is over 8k. Each bale was also over 2k. I had no problem pulling the load at all.

I know, the truck is so smooth that during the test drive my buddy was not that impressed until I pointed out that he was breakin' the tires loose and we were up to 50mph going from stoplight to stoplight. It's a smooth acceleration and very quiet so you don't really get the idea unless you check the speedo.

We had really bad rain here over the first cutting. By the time I got to most of my first cutting it had bloomed out pretty good. That stunted second cutting. Now it's been really dry since then. Never just right is it.
Cowboydoc, you should send that photo to your Ford dealer to show a real working truck. Wow! Also, is that gooseneck a single axle? It's hard to tell because of the shadow, but that would mean a single axle carrying over 26,000 pounds. I hope the tires are good. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif ...or should I say, "I know the tires must be good."
