I purchased a new to me 2021 ck2610 this winter with 40hrs. Did the oil and hydro oil/filter change at 60 hrs for the break in. When cold, at start up the low oil PSI light stays on for about 2 seconds. A little research says could be a faulty switch or wrong viscosity oil. Any one else seen this on the 25hp motor? I will have to check the viscosity because I cant remember what I bought but it said for use with Kioti on it. I used either 10w40 or 15w40. Either should be fine depending on climate.

2 seconds sounds about normal. Goes inline with pretty much all the engines I've run. It takes a couple seconds till it gets enough oil pressure to turn off the light.

It would be bad if it stayed lit all the time.

My Tach doesn't start to show the correct RPM for around two minutes. I wonder about Korean gauges.

As to oil? I am a believer in 5w-40 Full synthetic in diesel engines. A belief I think is well-founded in fact.

The Kioti comes with Factory Fill of 15w-40 in my engine and we have the same engine, more or less.
When I change my oil, 5w-40 full syn is going in it. Not because 15w-40 is bad oil, it is not. It is a very good oil, especially these days. I just prefer the 5w-40 full syn. No brand favorites but a decent one.

My $.02 and probably worth even less.

If you're running that thing in MI then id do 5w as well. We have a couple cabins on Otseego, where are you at?

Southwest, near Hastings. But even in Florida, I run 5w-40 Syn in my Cummins. It likes it
Ive been runnin the 15w40 T6 in my '16 cummins. What brand 5w40 do you run in it?

Had a TC26DA used aftermarket oil filter on oil change and experienced longer than normal oil light remain on during start up. Chose to pay the price for NH filter on next oil change and the oil light went out immediately. Not sure check valves in all oil filters are same spring rate. Then forward used the factory filter with no issues. Not saying after market filters are bad but you may experience difference as I have.
