Been comparing and studying the 2015 compared to the 18/24/26 models. Two different designs. The 2015 FEL actually looks like the hydraulic pin joints / stress loads are built with slightly thicker steel compared to the 18 and 24 even though the 2015 load specs are at best about the same as the 18. All the buckets for the models are marginal at best....not sure why they are not reinforcing the bucket sides with another piece of steel like some brands are doing.

Question - anyone have any problem with the FEL joints getting sloppy...out of round? The thicker steel in this area will hopefully have a better chance of stopping it compared to the 18/24 pin mounts. In all models I don't see any design changes to help prevent this from occuring over years of use.

The steering tie rod also seems to lower on the Mahindras than other makes..not the best design for rocky terrain.

Question - How useful is the high gear for the HST? Is it geared too high for any use other than high speed transport? What is the actual drive mechanism used to transfer power from the engine to the hydrostatic gearbox? Belts with a slip clutch, pressure plate with a clucht?? not up to date on current tractors.

Question - I like the 2015 HST since it can use the 2710 BHoe and and the next model that supports it (2615) is just too big..tire wise. Can the 2015 with the FEL and BHoe on fit on a 14 foot long trailer without hanging over? With the Bhoe turned to the side it looks like a very close call!

Question - If I attach the factory 2710 Bhoe to the 2015 can I remove the Bhoe by simply pulling the pins and sliding the Bhoe/subframe off and then attach the MMMower without having to remove any of the BHoe mounting supports underneath? It seems that the front support for the BHoe hangs down quite a bit and could be in the way of a MMM. Is this support used for the MMM attachment, does it get in the way or is it a non-issue?

Overall, I don't see any major tractor changes compared to my old AC 620 garden tractor- but the power steering and 4WD will definitely be welcomed features.

#1 You would mainly work the 2015 HST in the lower range. #2 The transmission is driven by shaft with a mechanical clutch & Pressure plate. #3 The backhoe is not compatable with out removing the front backhoe brackets and installing the brackets for the MM mower. Not something you want to be doing very often. Rick Wallace was saying that the woods hoe was compatable with the MM mower.

I have a 2015 with the FEL and a Woods BHoe and it fits fine on my 14 foot trlr. I do put the bh to the side to keep from hanging over. It's been a great tractor I have dug a lot of trench and dug up many stumps.

I wanted the 2710 BH but also the ability to add a medium sized MMM in the future. I was focusing in on the 2015. I guess I'm back to looking again at other models / makes. I do not want long major wrenching anymore just to change an attachment.

I thought adding a Woods BH to a new Mahindra violated the warranty? If I went that route then I would move back up to the 24xx just for the extra power.

gp1200x, When I originally thought about buying a tractor and was considering the Kubota, Mahindra and Kioti, I thought that I could buy a machine that would do it all as well.

The dealers I talked to mentioned that having a MMM on a machine greatly affects ground clearance. After I bought my 2015, I now realize that if I had bought a similar setup, I probably wouldn't have been a very happy camper right now.

What I learned is that digging and mowing are vastly different tasks and trying to mow a lawn with a loader and backhoe hanging off the tractor, I would think would be extremely difficult even if your lawn was wide open and flat with no trees.

It's only taken me 7 or 8 months of ownership to understand why people own more than 1 tractor. One is for mowing, one for digging, one for 3 point work, etc.

I would think that you would be in the same situation. For the cost of a MMM deck, you could afford to buy a lawn tractor at Lowes/Home Depot/Tractor Supply, or kick in a few hundred more and just buy a larger garden tractor like I did. In fact, if I had the money, I would own another 2015 just to mow with. I would even go so far as to say that if I wanted a backhoe really badly for a specific job I would find a used mini-excavator to dig with.
