Yes. Any B3350 will be effected. There's a problem with getting a DPF to work with a mechanical injection engine. It's my understanding there's a new engine on the way, though it's been "on the way" since 2016 at least, so it may be best to consider it a dead model until Kubota does a full refresh of the premium B line.
Kubota issued changes/updates multiple times during the model run but no recalls. Dealers are supposed to install the updates if the machine comes into the shop for any reason but not all do. Accordingly, there are many 3350s out there that are not up to date. Those that are up to date exhibit fewer issues than those that are not but the jury is still out.
Because the common rail engine is being developed, it is likely that no further development work is being done on the mechanically injected engine.
